Thank you for your interest in Bethune Mays Classical Academy. We know there are a number of superb educational institutions in the region to choose from, and we're elated that you are looking closely at Bethune Mays Classical Academy.

Our admissions process is designed to be efficient and straightforward. There are three (3) main areas that you should consider to successfully complete the admissions process:

Step One: Required Forms/Documentation

Application and Fee
Complete the application form in its entirety and mail it with the $90 application fee.

Transcripts
Complete the request form and mail or take it to your child's current school. All official transcripts should be mailed directly to us from your child's current school in a sealed envelope.

Teacher Recommendation Forms
Please distribute the teacher recommendation forms to your child's current teachers. These confidential forms should be mailed directly to us from your child's current school.

• English Teacher Recommendation
• Math Teacher Recommendation

Pastor/Youth Minister Recommendation Form
Please provide the Pastor or Youth Minister with the Recommendation form. This confidential form should be mailed directly to us from your child's Pastor or Youth Minister.

Additional Documents
• Copy of child's social security card
• Copy of birth certificate
• Copy of immunization records

Step Two: Interview Process

Parent Tour and Visit
After all documents have been received and reviewed, parents will be contacted to arrange a tour and interview. We strongly encourage one or both parents to meet with the Headmaster, share information about your child(ren) and tour our school. Such visits are an important part of our admission process. Please call or email the Administrative Office to schedule a visit.

Parent Interview
We ask one or both parents to schedule a meeting with the Headmaster for a parent interview. Email or call the Administrative Office to schedule an interview.

Student Admissions Visit
A student admission's visit will be scheduled immediately following the Parent Interview. Each applicant will spend a morning at Bethune Mays Classical Academy to meet the Headmaster for an informal interview and to visit the classroom.

Testing
Upon completing and submitting a student application, parents must contact the Administrative Office of Bethune Mays Classical Academy to schedule an entry evaluation for their child.

Acceptance Letter
After parent(s) and prospective student have interviewed, toured the campus and completed an entry evaluation, they will be notified of their acceptance. Please note that completion of Steps One and Two do not guarantee acceptance into Bethune Mays Classical Academy.

Step Three: Signing of Contracts and Scheduling Payment
